Walnut.io, a platform that has revolutionized the SaaS sales space, has appointed a new Chief Revenue Officer. Catie Ivey will be taking over as CRO after having previously led Enterprise Sales at Pendo.io.

Walnut's platform allows businesses to streamline the creation and deployment of interactive sales demos. As a codeless solution, Walnut rapidly became a leader in the SaaS sales industry due to its ease, accessibility, and rich web of features. The platform offers comprehensive data collection and analytics, enabling sales teams to craft precise, engaging, and winning demos.

Ivey joins Walnut after an impressive 18 months. Last year, Walnut experienced a viral #WeAreProspects movement, as well as winning the #1 Top StartUp award from LinkedIn. With experience leading revenue teams at Marketo, Meltwater, Demandbase, and SalesForce, Ivey brings invaluable experience to the executive role.

Commenting on the talent acquisition, Walnut's CEO, Yoav Vilner, stated, "As a result of the growing demand for our product and interactive product demos as a thriving category, we felt it was time for a strong leader such as Catie to scale our growth even further and stay on top of the category we created in tech."

Vilner continues, "We are excited to add Catie—and the invaluable experience she brings with her—to our executive team."

G2, a software review platform, outlined the demo automation space as one of the most rapidly expanding software categories for B2B buyers. Walnut's secure, straightforward, and easy-to-optimize platform perfectly aligns with this growing B2B trend. Their dominance in the industry has attracted clients like Adobe, NetApp, People AI, and Honeywell, alongside top investors like Eight Roads, Felicies, Liquid2, and more.

In addition to allowing for quick, easy interactive demo creations, the Walnut platform provides data and analyses regarding the demos that can assist teams with optimizing their sales process. Their platform also integrates with CRMs such as Salesforce and Hubspot.

Ivey identified Walnut's vision as closely aligned with her own. She says, "As someone who has led sales teams for almost the entirety of my career, I have often felt the pain of generic, resource-intensive product demos. As someone who has also evaluated and bought a lot of software, I have personally experienced how horrendous that process can be. Walnut is making a massive impact for both sales teams as well as the buyers that they serve, and I am excited to join their world-class team as we take the revenue org to the next level."
