One of the most iconic features of the mainline "Pokémon" games is Hyper Training, and this specific feature is now coming to the augmented reality (AR) game, "Pokémon GO."
The latest update to the mobile title is the arrival of Hyper Training, which allows players to raise their creatures to a more powerful version of themselves, similar to how it works in mainline titles.
That being said, "Pokémon GO" focuses on a slightly different approach with regards to Hyper Training, particularly as it will require collecting a new specific item to proceed with the process.
'Pokémon GO' Hyper Training Is Here
Earlier this week, Scopely announced the latest changes to the "Pokémon GO" app, centering on its latest feature that brings Hyper Training to players, complete with the perks it delivers. This concept was first introduced to the mainline "Pokémon" games that Game Freak developed, and it was made available to the Nintendo 3DS's "Pokémon Sun and Moon" titles.
In "Pokémon GO," the Hyper Training experience centers on a new and mysterious item that spawned in-game, which are the "Gold Bottle Caps." These are treasures that users may discover in their journey. It was noted by the team that Hyper Training is somewhat similar to powering up the creatures that users have caught, but instead of using Stardust and Candies, Gold Bottle Caps are required.
According to "Pokémon GO," users may potentially improve their Pokémon via Hyper Training as it significantly raises all of a creature's stats, including their attack points, defense rating, and health points. Moreover, users would also see an increase in their Pokémon's combat power (CP) when undergoing Hyper Training, which requires consuming Gold Bottle Caps.

Non-Shadow Pokémon and Pokémon that don’t have maxed out stats can undergo Hyper Training, so get ready to pick your first trainee!
According to a recent post by "Pokémon GO" on X, trainers who begin Hyper Training their Pokémon would have to take note of a few requirements and parameters for this procedure. First, only non-Shadow Pokémon and those that have their stats maxed out are eligible to undergo Hyper Training in the AR game.
Moreover, it is also important to note that only Pokémon that have the "Good Buddy" or higher rank may undergo Hyper Training in the game.
Apart from this, one of the most important requirements of Hyper Training is the use of Gold Bottle Caps which may be obtained via the GO Pass Deluxe, with the game's latest offer centering on the "Ancients Recovered" event. Users need to accomplish the many tasks under the GO Pass Deluxe: Ancients Recovered to earn themselves Gold Bottle Caps for the Hyper Training process.
During Hyper Training, users are also required to accomplish specific tasks based on the stats they want to improve. Attack requires users to battle with their buddies, Defense requires a user to play, explore, and catch Pokémon with their buddies, and HP requires spinning PokeStops, earning Buddy Candy, and participating in different adventures.
It is important to note that Gold Bottle Caps will only be available for a limited time until they expire, and they will only be available during the duration of the event that will end by Sunday, July 6 at 11:59 p.m. local time.
