A recent source suggests Samsung will be holding its Galaxy S24 Unpacked event in the US in mid-January. GSMArena reported that Korean outlet Biz SBS has disclosed that this anticipated tech event would take place on January 17, however, the event date was questioned. The time difference between China and the US may have influenced famous insider Ice Universe's suggestion of January 18.

Samsung seems to be seeing the Galaxy S24 launch as a calculated effort to increase its earnings, especially in light of the declining sales of semiconductors. By emphasizing the Galaxy S24 series, the South Korean electronics titan appears to be preparing for tough times, insiders say.

What's with Samsung's 'AI Phone'?

The Samsung Galaxy S24 called the "AI Phone" because of its generative AI capabilities, is reportedly intended to be more than just any smartphone. According to a report by Sammobile, Galaxy S24 will include features similar to ChatGPT and Dall-E. The Exynos 2400 processor, developed internally by Samsung, has already been revealed. It offers notable performance enhancements, such as a 30% quicker GPU, a 70% faster CPU, and an astounding 14.7 times faster NPU.

On-device AI processing will be made feasible by this potent CPU, opening the door for capabilities like text-to-image conversion. The Galaxy S24 Ultra may also have a titanium frame, like the iPhone 15 Pro. It is anticipated that every device in the series will have dynamic AMOLED 2x LTPO panels capable of producing an astounding 2,500 nits of peak brightness.

Usually, toward the end of February, Samsung releases the latest phones in the Galaxy S series, with shipments starting in early March. On the other hand, with the Galaxy S24 series, the business intends to debut even sooner, with a possible mid-January 2024 launch date and potential shipments starting that same month.

Update on Samsung's Fast Charging Feature

There have also been some intriguing rumors that suggest that Samsung's fast charging capabilities have significantly improved. According to Gizchina, the renowned business insider Revegnus is the source of this thrilling news, and he shared it on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). According to Revegnus, Samsung's quick charging technology has advanced to 65 watts and 140 watts. There is a lot of conjecture that these chargers are made for Samsung's next generation of devices.

Atum, the charger transformer provider for Samsung, has added 65W and 140W chargers to its lineup of chargers. Although this implies that Samsung is now investigating the possibility of introducing a 65-watt charger, it is important to remember that Samsung manufactures laptops in addition to smartphones. This raises the possibility that the 140-watt charger is not meant for cell phones but rather laptops.

It seems that the Galaxy S24 series may not get the much-anticipated fast charging update, even with the encouraging advancements in fast charging technology. Fans will have to wait to see when these improvements become available since it seems they are only planned for the next generation of Samsung devices.
