Subaru unveiled the new 2025 Forester SUV at AutoMobility LA, providing a glimpse into the SUV's new exterior and interior designs, along with improved chassis components. The sixth-generation Forester will hit North American dealerships in the spring of 2024.

Subaru showcased the upcoming 2025 Forester, set to hit North American dealerships in the spring of 2024. Boasting a fresh exterior and interior design, coupled with enhanced chassis components, the sixth-generation Forester aims to redefine its legacy in the SUV market.

2025 Forester's Standard Offerings

Standard offerings of the 2025 Forester SUV include Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and the acclaimed EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. Additionally, the model introduces an impressive 11.6-inch SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia system, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. 

Scheduled for release in spring 2024, the 2025 Forester will be available in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring trim levels, offering diverse options to cater to various consumer preferences.

The exterior of the 2025 Forester showcases a sleek and contemporary design, with a grille merging into compact LED headlights, creating an integrated shield effect. The updated Subaru star cluster emblem debuts on the new fascia. 

Internally, the Forester's cabin features a prominent multimedia system with an integrated center information display. It boasts contoured dash features and textured trim pieces to ensure durability against daily wear. 

The 2025 Forester's interior also incorporates a dark headliner to conceal scuffs from loading and unloading. It is also designed with pillars and a glass area to ensure an optimal all-around view with dark-tint privacy glass in the rear serving as a standard feature.

The 2025 Forester maintains an 8.7-inch ground clearance while offering a comfortably low step-in height for passenger entry as it is designed to combine the capabilities of a large SUV with the comfort and efficiency of a car. 

Standard features include a revised Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, providing improved response time, agile handling, and enhanced control on various terrains.

The Forester lineup features a versatile 60:40-split folding rear seatback, offering 74.4 cubic feet of cargo space with both seatbacks down. 

Under the hood, all 2025 Forester trim levels feature a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER engine delivering 180 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. The Lineartronic CVT ensures smoother and quieter performance, with manual mode available on Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring trims. 

The Forester's drivetrain includes standard Active Torque Vectoring and SI-Drive performance management, catering to a range of driving conditions.

How Much Does the 2025 Subaru Forester Cost?

The 2025 Forester's steering sees an enhancement with the incorporation of the WRX's dual-pinion electronic power steering rack, offering a more direct and natural steering feel and heightened responsiveness. 

Wheel sizes vary across trims, with the Base and Premium featuring 17-inch alloy wheels, the Limited equipped with 18-inch wheels, and the Sport and Touring upgrading to 19-inch alloy wheels.

While pricing details are yet to be disclosed, the 2025 Subaru Forester promises to capture the attention of SUV enthusiasts when it arrives in spring 2024.
