Nubia's newest gaming smartphone RedMagic 9 Pro is expected to debut in China on Nov. 23. What's most impressive about this device is its "ultra-fast" wired charging.

The most impressive feature of the RedMagic 9 Pro lies in its revolutionary 165W wired charging capability. While the charging speed has been officially confirmed for the Chinese variant, global availability remains unverified. 

According to Gadgets360, RedMagic asserts that this ultra-fast charging can propel the phone from 0 to 100% in an astonishing 16 minutes, setting a new benchmark in the smartphone charging arena.

Performance Prowess: AnTuTu Scores Revealed

AnTuTu, sharing insights on Weibo, unveils impressive benchmark scores for the Red Magic 9 Pro (model number NX769J). Boasting an AnTuTu score of 2,290,773, the phone excels in CPU (516,397), GPU (904,492), MEM (457,734), and UX (412,150) categories. 

Running Android 14 out-of-the-box, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with a robust configuration of 24GB RAM and 1TB internal storage.

Apart from that, RedMagic collaborates with BOE to introduce BOE Q9+ panels with the Red Magic 9 Pro, featuring a stellar touch sampling rate of 2000Hz, PWM dimming rate of 2,160Hz, and an impressive local peak brightness level of 1,600 nits. 

The gaming smartphone brings huge improvement over the previous BOE Q9 display, promising superior color accuracy, enhanced low-light display effects, improved brightness performance, and minimized screen smear issues.

Redmagic OS 9.0 and X Gravity Platform 2.0

The Red Magic 9 Pro series will debut with Android 14-based Redmagic OS 9.0, integrating "20 new functions" and ensuring a 30 percent smoother user experience. Further enhancing the gaming experience, the phones will feature the upgraded X Gravity Platform 2.0 with a one-click handheld mode and a super classic mode, reinforcing RedMagic's commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming technology.

Since the global release of Nubia RedMagic 9 Pro will take some time, you can check other good alternatives for this device.

According to 91Mobiles, some of the good options, if you want to ditch the RedMagic 9 Pro and wait for better models, are RedMagic 9 Pro Plus 5G and iQOO Neo 9 SE. Both are slated for December launch.
