The latest trailer released by RGG Studios for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, revealed the returning characters from the older games, centering on significant lookbacks from previous games and relationships. Some are known for being fan-favorite characters, centering on the series' renowned names that are making their way into the new game as part of Kazama Kiryu's story.

As revealed in the latest "Bucket List trailer" by RGG Studios, Kazama Kiryu is facing one of the toughest challenges in his life, and he is met with a life-threatening illness this time.

The somber story of Kazama's character will have him see familiar characters returning to the game, and the first to be revealed was Makoto Date, a renowned character recurring in various Like a Dragon games.

Also, ComicBook claimed that Kiryu is also seen meeting up with the owner of the Survive Bar, and this is none other than Osamu Kashiwagi, Kiryu's former captain.

Yuya also appears in the trailer and is back working at the Stardust Club, now under the Jingweon Mafia.

Moreover, Shun Akiyama also makes an appearance after a long time of being absent since Yakuza 6.

Lastly, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth revealed Kaoru Sayama to be joining the new game and she is best known as Kazama's love interest from Yakuza 2. It was also revealed that Sayama may be back to rekindle their love story again, with hints in her monologue about waiting for Kazama and showing her looking at her ring finger.

With the massive names and familiar faces unveiled in the trailer, Infinite Wealth is set to be one of the defying points of the franchise, centering on side quests that journey with Kazama during one of his lowest points.
