A new claim from the Windows Report, centers on a leak that claims of the next-gen ASUS ROG Phone, with its 8th version coming next year. However, apart from the regular release lineup, the ASUS ROG Phone 8 will also feature a "Pro" version that aims to exceed more than what the company offers for its devices, with this version centering on a more feature-packed smartphone.

In this release, it would be similar to Google's Pixel releases, with one base variant, and the other, with the Pro variant.

With ASUS' release, this would be the ROG Phone 8 and the ROG Phone 8 Pro.

This corroborates a claim from GSM Arena that talked about how the next ASUS ROG Phone release would be a more premium version, "going all-out" with this iteration.

ASUS would also change the design of the new smartphones, with more RGB lights and a square shape.

The ASUS ROG Phone Lineup

For many years now, ASUS, the Taiwanese multinational tech company, has revealed its take on smartphones, with the ROG Phone best known as one of the top gaming mobile devices in the industry. There were iconic releases from the company, centering on the Android-based smartphone which offers significant features for all, on par with top devices, even Samsung's Galaxy S series.

Back in 2018, the company unveiled its first take on smartphone developments, with the ROG Phone 1 debuting to the world with top experiences for all. It was initially meant to rival the Razer Phone, offering the top processor during its time, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, paired with 8GB of RAM (which is massive for its time), with a screen refresh rate of 90hz.

The last release from ASUS was the ROG Phone 7 earlier this April, and it offered the top gaming smartphone release of the company, with a new one already speculated for next year. While the ROG Phone series has been at the top of the pack since its release, the company is reportedly planning to release a "Pro" version in its next one, with further improvements coming.
