In another improvement, Microsoft has made modifications to its Bing Image Creator in response to user observations that images disappear from the tool after a certain period.

Users noticed that if they did not download the Bing Image Creator-created artwork and let it stay on Microsoft's servers, the images quietly vanished.

Responding to inquiries, Microsoft's CEO of Advertising and Web Services, Mikhail Parakhin, clarified that artwork generated through Bing Image Creator is stored online for a duration of "50 days," attributed to "storage costs." However, Parakhin assured users that the Bing team is actively "working on extending to 90" days, per Neowin.

Acknowledging the suggestion of integrating OneDrive, Microsoft's cloud file storage service, with Bing Image Creator, Parakhin responded affirmatively, stating, "Yes, we definitely should. Following up with the team." This indicates a potential enhancement where users could automatically save their created artwork to their OneDrive account, offering a more extended storage solution beyond the current limitations of 50 or 90 days.

Microsoft Adjusts Bing Image Creator Feature

In November, Microsoft responded to a trend where users crafted fictitious Disney movie posters featuring their pets using Bing Image Creator. Users requested the AI image creator generate movie posters resembling the style of Disney's Pixar studio while providing descriptions of their pets.

The outcomes were remarkably similar to authentic Disney movie posters, prompting Microsoft to take action. Subsequently, Microsoft restricted the use of the term "Disney" in the generator, addressing concerns raised by Disney regarding potential copyright and intellectual property violations, according to a report from PC Mag.
