This new leak claims that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be a new rear camera setup, powered by four lenses, adding to its iconic 3-camera setup from before.

A new post via X (formerly Twitter) brought a massive claim regarding the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra that will arrive by next year, with the leak stating that the new flagship will bring a four-camera setup to the world. This centers on its four lenses that were shown with the image, but these are still the 4-lens module from the claims, and not yet fitted on the upcoming smartphone.

The leaker regarded that these new cameras are for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with the serial number G928, centering on the device's rear setup for the 2024 release.

Tech Radar regarded that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will arrive with these new lenses, offering a new quad-lens camera setup, a first for the S-series.

New Cameras for the S24 Ultra: Here's What to Expect

With this new camera setup, it was said that the S24 Ultra will feature a 200MP main camera, 50MP and 10MP telephoto zoom lens, and finally, a 12MP ultrawide camera for its rear alone. It was not regarded if this would also apply to other variants of the S24 series, especially as there is still uncertainty regarding the upcoming release if there would be a 'Plus' variant.

The camera is one of the top things that matter on a smartphone, and these elements of the device are the most that get updated in every release, particularly with the Samsung-made tech available.

It was previously claimed that the S24 would feature a 5x telephoto for its zoom capabilities, upgrading from the initial 3x found in the Galaxy S22, S23, and other models from Samsung.

It was also regarded that the Galaxy S24 will be featuring better batteries upon release, one that will allow the smartphone to charge faster compared to older versions in its lineup. This is because its latest power cells were manufactured to mirror that of electric vehicles, centering on a stacked design approach that will allow improved rates and usage for all.

While the Galaxy S23 was previously touted as the best smartphone camera to ever be released during its time, Samsung is not laying back and being complacent with its previous tech for the smartphone. This new leak focuses on the camera lens array that is already in production from the company says the source, offering a four-camera setup which is a first for the S-series.
