Around a week after Palworld's release, it is getting massive hype and popularity from the global gaming industry for what it has to offer, despite its current availability to PCs and Xbox only. However, that may soon about to change as a renowned PlayStation boss confirmed significant news to its gamers about the possibility of the game coming to the PS4 and PS5 platforms.

Less than a week after its launch, Palworld is seeing skyrocketing numbers for its copies sold and a growing player base from its multi-platform availability.

When one of Palworld's developers posted a milestone regarding the game's initial 24 hours in the market, renowned PlayStation boss Shuhei Yoshida congratulated the team and their game for this achievement. This sparked massive talk from gamers who wanted the game to arrive on the PlayStation consoles, requesting this availability to Yoshida himself.

In a separate tweet, Yoshida replied to a fan's plea to bring the game to the Sony platforms, with a simple message saying "Yes" to the gamer.

The famed executive then tagged the account of a PlayStation employee, Jingwen Zhu, sharing this plea and addressing the request.

Is Palworld Coming to the PS4 and PS5?

While this may already be a silver lining for PlayStation fans, this does not guarantee that the game will arrive on the PS4 and PS5 consoles during this time. This is because of Pocket Pair's FAQ on Steam which addressed the possibility of a Palworld port for the PlayStation consoles, saying that the company does not have any plans in the present for this availability.

Palworld Craze: Milestones on Launch

Take cute and loveable creatures roaming around and put them in an open-world survival game. This is what Palworld currently offers to gamers now, and this game from the Japanese studio, Pocket Pair, Inc., is now seeing immense success and a warm welcome from gamers, achieving as many as 300,000 players on its Steam debut alongside selling 1 million copies in its first 8 hours.

That is not yet accounting for its Xbox Game Pass availability, something that would boost more of Palworld's current numbers.

Moreover, many claim that the game is expected to grow more in the future, especially as it is still in its early availability in the present, offering a different kind of experience that revolves around a "Pokemon with guns" theme.

Gamers on Xbox and the PC platform are now enjoying what PocketPair and Palworld have to offer them, with the battle for survival in a dystopian world filled with multiple "Pals" taking over the gaming industry now.

While its absence on the PlayStation consoles was initially questioned, Yoshida now confirms that Palworld will soon be available, with its timeline yet to be determined.
