After the surprising press release from Apple for the new MacBook Air M3 lineup, the company confirmed that it will also bring its latest feature called multi-display support to the MacBook Pro M3 later this year. This will arrive in the form of a software update which would give the company's most powerful laptop this feature, as part of the M3 family's exclusive tech.

In this latest release by Apple, it introduced the two MacBook Air M3 devices which deliver the light and essential laptop with its most powerful chipset yet.

Apple's recent press release for the MacBook Air M3 was a shocking revelation for all, and while it was expected, many's attention was on the iPad Pro for this new chipset upgrade. In its announcement, it claimed that this new MacBook Air M3 is getting a multi-display support feature, leading to the public wonder if it would also come to its professional counterpart, the MacBook Pro M3.

The good news is, that it will arrive in the future for the MacBook Pro M3, as confirmed by Apple to 9to5Mac, saying that it will be coming via a software update, but Cupertino did not reveal any further details on what exact version or date it will be available on.

The multi-display support feature will give these laptops the capability to control two external monitors under one connected device, offering more accessibility and displays for a single computer.

MacBook Pro M3: How to Use the Multi-Display

It said that the way to use this multi-display feature on the MacBook Air M3 is to connect the two monitors before hooking up the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros for it to drive. This feature is available to use with the MacBook Pro and Air's lids closed, a.k.a. the Clamshell mode

Apple's M3 Lineup Expansion

Last year's Scary Fast event on Halloween brought the world the first iterations of its M3 chipset, centering on the three-variant release for the base M3, the M3 Pro, and the M3 Max.

This introduced two computer lineups to be getting the 3nm chipset of the company, with the MacBook Pro's 14 and 16-inch variants, alongside the anticipated upgrade of the iMac.

However, the buzz in the industry talked widely about more of what Apple has to offer the world with its M3 Silicon chip, as it would not end with last year's October 30 event and arrive more to its other gadgets. This includes the MacBook Air's two size options, the 13-inch and the 15-inch, alongside the iPad Pro which is still believed to soon be announced for its M3 update

One device lineup was already announced by Apple for this upgrade, centering on the MacBook Air's earlier revelations, with the industry talks being spot on about its March announcement.

While people read about MacBook Air M3's multi-display support, it was questioned if its more powerful sibling, the MacBook Pro, would get it, and fortunately, Apple confirmed that it will soon be available for the world to use.
