iPhone 16 Pro: New Color, ‘Capture Button’ Rumors Surface—What to Expect?

New rumors about the Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Pro series are surfacing, bringing new information about what the company will offer when it is released later this year.

One of the latest leaks is the arrival of new colors for the smartphone, one that will be a significant but expected change as it has a special color for the Pro each release and a rumored Capture button.

Several sources of the leak provided dummy units and accessories that corroborate this information about the upcoming Apple smartphone.

iPhone 16 Pro: New Colors, Capture Button Rumors

ShrimpApplePro shared a post on X that details an upcoming new color for the iPhone 16 Pro that would replace one of the four choices on the smartphone.

This centers on the featured color of the new smartphone for the year, with Rose Titanium making a debut to the iPhone 16 Pro series and bidding farewell to the Blue Titanium featured last year.

It would also resemble Apple's previous Rose Gold colors for the iPhone series, alongside the Black Titanium, White Titanium, and (natural) Gray Titanium colors.

On the other hand, the Capture Button's earlier rumor sees another corroborating leak today, as an iPhone 16 Pro casing shows a lower right provision for a new button for the device.

What to Expect from Apple's iPhone 16

The new color for the Pro series is changing each year, centering on a featured one, and this year, it would be Rose Titanium.

Alongside it, the dedicated Capture button would offer a way to click on the shutter without clicking the screen, as per earlier reports, but it is unknown if it could be reconfigured to other functions like iPhone 15 Pro's Action Button.

With iOS 18's massive release, these new rumors are now intensifying about the improvements Apple will deliver for the smartphone.

The iPhone 16 Series

Apple's last release, the iPhone 15 Pro, featured the Action Button, which replaced the mute slider on the smartphone and, instead, offers a haptic feedback button that recognizes force and weight on the press.

However, Apple was said to be taking it up a notch with the addition of a new physical button called the Capture Button below the Power and Lock Screen buttons on the lower right side.

This is one of the next upgrades expected on the iPhone 16 Pro series for Apple's release this year, alongside the renowned biggest update ever on the operating system, iOS 18.

However, it does not stop there. In addition to the new AI additions, the iPhone 16 Pro will also feature a "Super Periscope" camera and improved battery life.

Based on the leaks before and in the present, the iPhone 16 series will bring significant updates that will set it apart from the iPhone 15, but its look will still be the same, featuring a dedicated Dynamic Island alongside the titanium frame.

More leaks and rumors are popping up now, with the iPhone 16 Pro's new colors bringing the first-ever Rose Titanium, followed by more corroboration of the new Capture Button.
