A new leak on Fortnite hints at the arrival of an upcoming The Mandalorian event, centering on the latest content from the collaboration as part of another earlier leak. It was said that the battle royale game is planning a new Star Wars crossover event this year, expected to be available in Chapter 5 Season 2, initially known for featuring the beloved Wookie's weapon, the Wookie Bowcaster.
For now, Mando's return to the battle royale only has a specific new skin drop revealed by the leakers, with another version of his suit or other content remaining unknown.

However, ShiinaBR has not yet discussed what specific vehicle will get the dedicated skin to the renowned bounty hunter from Mandalore.
Currently, there is still no information behind what The Mandalorian event's drop would bring for the game apart from said vehicle skin.

Fortnite Star Wars Crossover: When to Expect It?
That being said, the leaker claimed that this upcoming The Mandalorian crossover will be a part of another Star Wars event dropping for the battle royale. However, it is not yet coming soon, as it would take more than a month before this arrives as it is set for 'May the 4th,' a famed date dedicated to celebrating the Star Wars franchise.
It was said to be an upcoming Star Wars event, with an earlier leak about Chewbacca and his Wookie Bowcaster also part of this said event, may also be dropping come May 4.
Fortnite and its Star Wars Content
Epic Games is fond of the hit cult classic space story, Star Wars, with massive crossovers released in the past which feature more of the franchise's content than Fortnite. In 2019, Fortnite released the latest generation of Star Wars skins to the game, featuring the likes of Rey, Finn, and the Sith Troopers which were featured in 2015's The Force Awakens and later movies from the trilogy.
However, it did not stop there, as Fortnite also featured a dedicated 'May the 4th' celebration, a.k.a. Star Wars Day, on the battle royale. In 2020, Epic Games released the return of Lightsabers as part of this commemoration, featuring the weapons of Jedi Masters and Sith Lords including Yoda, Kylo Ren, Anakin and Luke Skywalker, and Mace Windu on the item shop.
Last year's May the 4th celebration also saw new crossover content coming to the battle island, featuring the renowned prequel characters from Episodes I to III.
Epic Games is not letting this year miss out on the May 4 celebration of Star Wars Day, with Fortnite seeing not only Chewbacca but also the return of The Mandalorian to the game.
