It is known that Fortnite partners with newly released movies or other hyped shows. The game is now teased for a Fortnite x Fallout crossover, which insiders believe will come soon.

The new rumor follows the recent release of Amazon Prime Video's series adaptation of the famed video game series, Fallout, particularly with its massive hype across the industry now. 

This was not the first time Fortnite did a crossover for a newly released film or show, with previous collaborations showing its focus on integrating pop culture.

Fortnite x Fallout Crossover: Rumors Claim it is Coming

The leaker further explained that this was because of the massive new updates coming to Fallout 4, the franchise's 9-year-old game from 2015 that will release new content and current-gen platform enhancements. 

According to Shiina, the last release from Bethesda Softworks saw a massive Fortnite crossover, particularly with The Elder Scrolls Online. 

The leaker suggested that this possible crossover would also feature several elements from Prime Video's series adaptation of the franchise, released only yesterday.

What can you expect from the Fortnite and Fallout crossover?

While this came from the popular Fortnite leaker, it is only a theory. It was unlike their previous rumors, which saw actual additions of the crossovers to the game's code or for early previews. 

That said, Shiina suggested that Fortnite's crossover has patterns, particularly as the Fallout series is newly released, and Bethesda previously collaborated with Epic Games. 

Fortnite's Famed Crossovers with Films or Shows

Crossovers are no longer new for Fortnite, and this certainly does not leave out the upcoming new movies, films, or other games that are at their peak hype or on their way to the bigger screens.

Previously, the release of the much-awaited Sony Pictures Animation's sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, was leaked for a Fortnite crossover, with the game releasing it for all to enjoy. 

The company also brought a special skin for the Scarlet Witch, inspired by the 2022 film from the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness.

Additionally, Sony's Uncharted film starring Tom Holland also made its way for a crossover in Fortnite amidst its theatrical release, featuring Naughty Dog's Nathan Drake from the video games. 

More recently, a crossover from a hyped show made its way to Fortnite, centering on Prime Video's Invincible, which recently wrapped up its Season 2 finale. 

While those are testaments to Fortnite's crossover with pop culture, the Fallout collaboration remains a rumor, with fans only hoping that it comes to the game, with Epic having the last say behind its confirmation.
