Google Cloud Deepens its Partnership With CrowdStrike

This collaboration will leverage CrowdStrike's Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), and Exposure Management solutions.

The 75% rise in cloud intrusions over the past year underscores the urgency of effective cybersecurity solutions. Adversaries are increasingly swift, infiltrating customer environments within minutes, as CrowdStrike claims.

Hence, the company noted that addressing these modern threats requires an intuitively managed security approach that simplifies complexity and augments security and DevOps teams.

The partnership seeks to empower customers to thwart breaches across diverse cloud environments by combining AI-driven Google Cloud services with Google Cloud's Security Operations platform and CrowdStrike's advanced protection capabilities.

CrowdStrike's Chief Business Officer, Daniel Bernard, claimed their technology is crucial in stopping breaches during critical attack moments.

He highlighted CrowdStrike's single platform, single agent architecture as delivering superior protection with exceptional ease and speed of deployment.

Bernard views the expanded alliance with Google Cloud as a transformative step in cybersecurity.

It enables Mandiant's Incident Response and Managed Detection and Response services to leverage Falcon alongside Google Cloud's Security Operations platform, incorporating top-tier technology with expert insight to provide organizations with crucial breach prevention capabilities.

This collaboration extends to Google Chronicle, the Hyperscale Security Operations platform, Mandiant Managed Defense, and the deployment of CrowdStrike Falcon to aid Mandiant Consulting.

"CrowdStrike has been a strategic technology partner for both Mandiant and Google Cloud for many years," Dom Delfino, VP Global Sales, Google Cloud Security, said in a press release statement

"We're excited to deepen the collaboration across Google Cloud Security with enhanced threat intelligence sharing, a tighter integration between CrowdStrike and Google Chronicle, our Hyperscale Security Operations platform and Mandiant Managed Defense, and the ability to deploy CrowdStrike Falcon to support Mandiant Consulting."
