Apple has registered the new Beats Pill with the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which means that its announcement and release date are nearing.

Evidenced by previous FCC filings made by Apple, the registration suggests that its launch and availability dates are close, say analysts, similar to past devices that saw the same process from Cupertino.

Earlier this year, it is known that the latest Beats Pill was seen in public, held by NBA superstar LeBron James, during their earlier playoffs matchup in Denver.

new filing by Apple to the FCC with the identifier "A3211" was spotted by 9to5Mac, and the report claims that this suggests that the new Beats Pill release date is nearing.

The device is a new portable wireless speaker that Apple discontinued in 2022. The company has yet to release its replacement since then, and this new device is expected to be its latest version.

Three colors, black, gold, and red, are expected to arrive under this new Beats Pill, which would also feature four physical buttons.

However, it is still unknown if the Beats Pill will exclusively use a Bluetooth connection for transmitting the sounds, or if it will feature Apple's renowned AirPlay and USB-C charging.

FCC Filing Reveals Beats Pill Release Date?

Previous Apple filings for the Beats suggest that its release date is close once it "hits" the FCC. Take, for example, the previous Beats Solo 4, which hit the FCC last April 2. Apple subsequently offered it for sale several weeks later, on April 30.

While Apple has not made any announcements yet, the new Beats Pill is expected to be available in June.

Apple and Beats Music Experiences

Despite Apple having its line of AirPods, its acquired subsidiary company, Beats, still lives on with the new releases available for the world to experience.

For many years, Beats remained on the market to deliver quality audio experiences. Massive features, including longer battery life, active noise cancelation, and more, were made available with the likes of the Beats Studio Buds+.

Last year's Beats Studio Pro defied expectations and delivered a spectacular Wireless Bluetooth headphones experience that many claim to rival Apple's AirPods Max, one that is $200 cheaper and was initially available for only $349.99.

For many years, Beats exceeded expectations for its renowned music experiences, offering superb features that are close to or almost similar to what Apple offers from its flagship devices.

Now, a new music device is coming, a wireless speaker known as Beats Pill, and reports believe that it is coming soon after its recent FCC filing that marks the timeline.
