'Metroid Prime 4' Early Copies Leak Among Players

Reddit use, u/Shadow-Gang shared a rare photo of an early copy of "Metroid Prime 4: Beyond" despite the game's release still being a week away. Nintendo has previously announced that this new installment in the "Metroid" franchise would be available by December 4, but there are already several people showing off their physical copies online for the Switch 2 version.

While it is normal for some games to have their physical copies available before launch, a highly anticipated game like "Metroid Prime 4: Beyond" has some fans getting concerned about it.

According to GameRant, there are also risks to these early copies being available earlier than expected, especially as there had been massive data-mining attempts that aim to share more about the title.

This led to Nintendo issuing a warning against leakers over the content they would share about these early copies, with the company known for fighting against leaks and taking them to court. While some players hunt online for spoilers about an upcoming game, Nintendo wants to keep the mystery intact until players get to receive their copy on the official launch of its titles.

Fans Are Worried About 'Metroid Prime 4' Experiences

According to the report, discussions on Reddit have shown that many fans are concerned about what they would get once "Metroid Prime 4: Beyond" officially releases.

First, Nintendo and Retro Studios were revealed to be focusing on an open-world exploration experience in the game, with an open desert shown in the screenshot shared by the Redditor.

Here, players expressed their concerns about the game being different from previous "Metroid" titles as, according to GameRant, it could be a fast-paced experience.

It was also previously revealed that Samus is getting a Vi-o La motorcycle in "Metroid Prime 4: Beyond," and fans are now saying that it could disrupt the traditional experience expected from the franchise.

It is known that "Metroid" games focused on a slower and methodical pacing, with the open-world setup and motorcycle set to change the experience with the new title.

Lastly, fans have also pressed on about Samus' new companion character, Myles Mackenzie, as traditionally, "Metroid" games focused on a solo experience that banks on the themes of isolation.
