The "Avatar" game announced last year, "Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game," has been recently confirmed to be coming soon, showcasing the famed Nickelodeon franchise in a new medium.
'Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game' Unveiled
A new trailer was released by AvatarFighters' YouTube channel that shows the latest from Gameplay Group International, featuring the gameplay experience of "Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game." This fast-paced 1v1 fighter features the franchise's crowd-favorite characters.
Users may play the game's Story Mode, which follows the progression in the animated series, "Avatar: The Last Airbender," as well as online play with Casual and Ranked matches.
Players are also getting rollback netcode and crossplay availability, which improves the online play experience with nearly zero latency, as well as playing with users across different platforms.
"Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game" also features hand-drawn 2D animation that follows the animated series' unique design.
Preorder Now Open for 'Avatar Legends' Game
"Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game" is now available to preorder on Windows via Steam, PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Series S and X via the Xbox Store.
While it is not yet available on the Nintendo eShop to preorder, the game is coming to both the original Switch and the latest-gen Switch 2 platforms.
The game only costs $29.99 for its base Standard Edition and $49.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition. "Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game" is coming this July 2 for all gaming platforms.
