Naya Rivera confirmed that she and husband Ryan Dorsey are expecting their first child as a married couple. The Glee star posted the announcement on her Instagram account and posted a picture of a bun in an oven with a sign that said: "XO, The Dorsey."

Naya, who used to be engaged to rapper Big Sean, tied the knot with Dorsey in July 2014 at a secret ceremony in Mexico. The two had reportedly met four years before and were able to reconnect after Naya and Big Sean canceled their engagement in April 2014.

"We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife," the couple told PEOPLE. "Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for. True love always prevails."

Incidentally, the 28-year-old actress announced her pregnancy on the same day Big Sean released his latest album Dark Sky Paradise.

"Surprise! We're having a baby! Ryan and I feel so blessed and can't wait to welcome the newest member of our family!" said Naya on her official Tumblr account. She also posted some photos of herself and her hubby when they were still kids.

Naya extended the announcement on Twitter when she posted: "First comes love...then comes marriage...then comes..."

Now, everyone knows that this playground rhyme ends with the words "a baby carriage."

News about the baby came only a few days after Glee wrapped up filming of its final episode. Naya recently landed a part on the Lifetime show Devious Maids. She was also a regular guest host on The View this year.

Ryan, on the other hand, will be featured with Mel Gibson in the action flick Blood Father. He played the role of Earl during the final season of Justified. His other credits include Shameless, The Mentalist and Your'e the Worst.

On Valentine's Day, Naya shared on Instagram a wedding photo of her and her husband, which had never been publicly posted before:

"Happy Valentine's Day to the best husband in the world. I love you!" The photo shows the couple in a wedding kiss, with their wedding guests and the priest in the background.
