If you're out to find the best value for your money, then you'd be glad to know the 2015 model of the Moto E is the real deal.

This second-generation Moto E boasts a 4.5-inch QHD display (960 x 540) and an option to have a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor or a quad-core Snapdragon 200 for the LTE and non-LTE versions respectively. Moreover, the handset is now equipped with a new VGA front-facing camera that is perfect for shooting selfies. It also features the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The best part about the handset, however, is its unbeatable price point. Packed with all of the above-mentioned features, the Moto E retails at a mere $149.99.

Other features include pixel density of 245 ppi, Adreno 302 GPU, a RAM of 1GB, and internal storage of 8GB. It also comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 2,390mAh battery that claims to offer 24 hours of various usage.

"We're all about giving people the power to choose," said Magno Herran of Motorola's marketing department. "That's what drives us and that's the idea behind the new Moto E -- that a great smartphone should be a choice for everyone. So we saw an opportunity to make a great, affordable device for people who don't want to spend a lot of money."

The Moto Display allows the phone to identify when it is being taken out from the user's pocket or when it is being picked up from a desk nearby. Once the details are known, the select pixels of the display would light up to display the time or some pending notifications. This means that there's no need for the user to unlock the phone.

The handset's Quick-Capture feature allows the user to launch the camera easily by just flipping the device horizontally two times.

"We designed the Moto E with the idea that people shouldn't have to pay a lot to join the connected world and experience it at its best," said Rick Osterloh, president of Motorola.

The new Moto E can now be purchased at Motorola's online store for the price of $149.99. Users can choose to have it either in black or white.
