When it comes to taking risks in the lowbrow culinary field, Taco Bell pretty much has the market covered. But up until now, most of the fast food chain's culinary feats have been circumscribed to what you can stuff into the folds of a chalupa.

But now Taco Bell is taking its creativity to new heights with Cap'n Crunch donut holes.

The donut holes are basically deep fried balls of dough filled with milk icing and covered with Cap'n Crunch Berries cereal, Foodbeast reports.

This "breakfast as dessert" hybrid is currently being tested out in various locations in California and will be sold in sets of two for $1 or a dozen for $4.49.

This week the Associated Press reported that major food companies are trying to create more "hipster" menus to cater towards Millenials. The nostalgic part of us thinks that figuring out a way to combine a childhood favorite cereal with even more sugar and carbs is probably the right way to go.
