HTC is giving away five new One M9 devices to lucky winners in a raffle draw sponsored by HTC America. Only residents in the U.S. are allowed to join the contest, which will run until Mar. 24 this year.

The One M9 device is revealed by HTC to have a retail value of $599. In the U.S., it is mandatory that a manufacturer mentions the price tag of the contest's winning product in order to allow potential winners to make calculations of the tax that could be incurred with their winning.

"Win the new HTC One M9 before you can buy it," stated the ad. "It started with the 2013 & 2014 Phone of the Year. It continues with the new HTC One."

There are only three fields that need to be filled in by the entrant: First Name, Last Name and Email. Once the form is completed and submitted, the person automatically receives one entry into the raffle.

There is, of course, a rule on the number of entries registered in the contest.

"Each entrant may receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry during the Promotion Period regardless of method of entry," noted HTC. "Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address."

In other words, using a single email address for multiple contest entries and registering more than one entry are not allowed. Any person who is found to have done such will be disqualified from the raffle. Using an automated system to participate is also prohibited and will result in one's disqualification.

All information gathered from entries shall be subject to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy.

Potential winners of the contest may be asked to provide some proof that they are the authorized holder of an email account. The contest rule defines the "authorized account holder" as the natural person who has obtained his email address from an Internet access provider, web service provider or any other organization that has the responsibility to assign email addresses with the associated domain.

A total of five HTC One M9 devices will be given away to five lucky winners. A person can only win once.
