It's an undeniable fact that people love two things in life: Game of Thrones and beer. Put the two together and you have a recipe for instant success. That's the story according to Ommegang Brewery, which is set to release its fifth Game of Thrones-inspired beer just in time for the show's fifth season premiere on April 12.

Previous brews, such as Fire and Blood, Valar Morghulis, and Take the Black Stout, have shown that there's a great thirst out there for Thrones booze. Ommegang describes its newest creation, the Three-Eyed Raven Dark Saison Ale, as a "delectable blend that both deceives and thrills the senses."

No doubt it will sell faster than Arya can recite her prayers. In an attempt to meet the demand, Ommegang is brewing more than 614,000 bottles of this latest ale, which will go on sale a week before the air of the first episode.

It won't be enough for everyone. Ommegang is therefore advising those embarking on the epic quest for the Three-Eyed Raven in a new blog post. Fans in North Dakota, South Dakota, Mississippi, West Virginia, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming will have to journey out of state, and only a few Canadian provinces will carry it. You can get buy the beer either at the brewery in Cooperstown, N.Y., or from retailers who can be tracked down with Ommegang's beer finder.

"Our best advice is to call your local beer store first," Ommegang writes. "The beer is going to sell very quickly in some places so before you trek out to find it, call ahead and make sure your store has it in stock before making any long journeys...

"The beer finder works by aggregating sales data from the distributor and it is uploaded often a few days after the sale into the account. With the great demand it might even be sold out by the time it is listed on our beer finder, so again we strongly encourage you to call your local retailers in advance."

If you happen to live near the brewery in Cooperstown, you can get an early start on your quest when The Three-Eyed Raven goes on sale at the brewery on March 14. Launch parties will be held in cities across the country, with Ommegang announcing more details next week.

In the meantime, prepare for battle — the fight over bottles of this elusive beer is going to be fierce.
