Smackdown may have been WWE's B-List show for a while, but in 2015, things are really starting to pick up. The wrestlers are better, there's more fighting than talking, and most importantly, the matches have been fantastic. Sure, it's not the three-hour-long 'super show' that dominates Monday nights, but that's probably a good thing: Smackdown never overstays its welcome, and focuses on what fans want to see...the fights.

Last night's episode of Smackdown was a near-perfect example of this: yes, there were a few promos, but the real highlight of the night were the matches themselves. These were some PPV-level matches, plain and simple..and, if you happened to miss last night's episode, don't worry: the WWE Top 10 has your back.

Let's be honest: lately, Monday Night Raw features way too many promos. Yes, it's fun to watch wrestlers hurl insults at one another, but this is professional wrestling - fans want to see actual fights, not just people talking about them.

Smackdown, on the other hand, is proving itself as the place to go if you want to watch actual WWE matches...and these aren't the C-grade squash matches that made up most of Smackdown's card in 2014. John Cena and Daniel Bryan might have been predictable, but it was a fun watch - even the Divas match, which are usually pretty half-baked, was great.

That being said, the clear highlight of the evening was the Neville vs. Sheamus match (it takes up three separate spots on the list, after all). Despite a somewhat mixed reception to his new look, Sheamus has returned to the WWE with some serious momentum, and Neville is quickly proving to be one of the WWE's most talented new additions. Sure, it ended with a disqualification, but that doesn't change the fact that it was a fantastic match overall.

So, if you're tired of watching people talk all throughout Monday Night Raw - maybe it's time to give SmackDown another chance.

WWE's Smackdown airs Thursday nights at 8pm on Syfy.
