Amazon Instant Video June 2015: Stream These New Movies And TV Shows Being Added

The first day of summer is technically June 21, but let's face it. Your mind is already at the beach.

The weather's getting warmer. The school year is ending or has already wound down for some students. The unofficial start of the summer, Memorial Day weekend, is almost upon us. Can we just go ahead and call it already? Summer is basically here. Now doesn't that feel good to say out loud?

Of course, summer means you're outside being active like all of the time. However, for most people, summer also means some newfound downtime that they've got to fill somehow. Why not use it to stream some movies and TV shows? That's really how you want to spend your days anyway.

Plus, summer is basically made for streaming. Most of your favorite shows won't return until fall. You've got to do something when the occasional thunderstorm ruins your plans to sit by the pool. The duration of the journey to your summer vacation destination is also just too long to go without entertainment.

Well, if you're an Amazon Prime subscriber, you'll be happy to know that there are several new movies and TV shows coming to Instant Video next month to make sure you have the best summer ever. These include classics like The Shining, Roman Holiday and Apocalypse Now, as well as new favorites like last summer's blockbuster Transformers: Age of Extinction, the final season of Covert Affairs and the concert film of Katy Perry's most recent world tour. It sounds like you won't have that much free time this summer after all.
