At this point, few would argue against Stephen Curry being the best shooter in the NBA. Hell, Steve Nash and some other NBA greats recently said the league's reigning MVP is the greatest shooter of all time ... and he just might be.

However, simply saying it isn't good enough. This by the numbers, though, will drive Curry's shooting dominance home for you. Can you say target practice and knock them down?

Stephen Curry averaged 16.8 field-goal attempts — 8.1 of which beyond the arc — per game this season.

Arguably the best point guard in the game, Curry has now led the NBA in three-pointers made three years in a row.

Curry drained a season-high 286 three-pointers this year.

That's 47 more than Klay Thompson, who finished second in the league in threes made (wow, do the Golden State Warriors have a good thing going with the Splash Brothers, or what?).

Stephen also led the NBA in three-pointers made last season with 261.

That was 38 more than ... you guessed it — Klay Thompson — made in the 2013-14 season.

Curry also splashed in 272 three-pointers in the 2012-13 season.

That's a three-year, regular-season total of 819 three-pointers.

With five regular seasons behind him, if Curry goes on to play 10 more years at this level, he'll have hit approximately 2,730 more three-pointers.

That'd give him a career total of 3,921 three-pointers, which would have him shredding Ray Allen's all-time high total of 2,973. Wow.

The MVP touts a career field-goal percentage of 47.1 and three-point percentage of 44.

He's also pretty good at the other line — the charity stripe — where he sports a lifetime clip of 90 percent.

Curry will have a chance to earn one championship ring — his first — as his Golden State Warriors open up the NBA Finals with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.
