Hollywood celebrities, billboard-topping musicians, and even President Obama — none who live in the eye of public scrutiny are safe from being ridiculed and mocked on social media. But comedian Jimmy Kimmel has turned the laughter around: his regular segment "Mean Tweets" – read out loud by the celebrity targets themselves – has become a staple on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

In the latest edition of "Mean Tweets," NBA All-Star players take their turn reading some harsh words from Twitter users.

Magic Johnson gets the ball rolling by reading out a mean tweet from @groneg: "I'm convinced that Magic Johnson has approximately 73 teeth in his mouth," he reads before flashing a great big grin to show off his pearly whites.

Westley Matthews is bewildered how @Patrick_(name obscured) could call him a fat **** when he only has six per cent body fat.

Draymond Green can't help but be amused when @nickb414 tweets that he looks like Donkey from Shrek.

Zach Randolph takes everything in good stride when he reads @badliver's tweet: "Zack Randolph is not so much IN basketball shape. Rather, he IS a basketball shape. Yes, I just called him fat. #sports" ("It's aight," Randolph says in reaction.)

@zcutler45 wants Stephen Curry to change his name to Steve. The reasoning? "Imagine the damage Steph Curry would be doing in the NBA if he didn't have such a girly name..." To which Curry responds, "Steve is a terrible name." But then he takes it back just as quickly, "Oh shoot, that's my coach's name."

Deandre Johnson says that he thinks that sharing is caring when he reads out @Poochda63's mean tweet: "Deandre Johnson look like that uncle at a cookout that stick his fork in ya plate [sic]."

Blake Griffin rounds up the segment as he reads @staykaziming's ALL-CAPS mean tweet (which could also use some punctuation marks): "GOOD BYE BLAKE GRIFFIN YOU SOFT GINGER HAIR COLORED LINDSEY LOHAN FRECKLED FACE TWO HEADED B**CH TAKE YA ASS HOME B**CH"
