There's no telling when we'll get to see the confirmed sequel to Disney's 2013 mega-hit Frozen. Frozen Fever more recently let us catch up with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and the rest of the gang when the short film ran before Disney's Cinderella when it opened in theaters in March.
However, if you still have an Arendelle-sized void in your heart from the lack of new Frozen content in your life, this news will surely cheer you up. Frozen fans will finally be able to own Frozen Fever and watch it again and again in the comfort of their own homes.
Frozen Fever is coming to DVD, Blu-ray and digital HD for the first time as part of the new Walt Disney Animation Studios Shorts Collection. In addition to Frozen Fever, the collection features 11 other contemporary Disney animated shorts, including the Academy Award-winning Paperman and Feast as well as the continuation of Disney's beloved 2010 animated film Tangled Ever After.
Disney is of course best known for its feature-length films. However, shorts have been just as important to the animation studio's history and legacy. Walt Disney began his empire by creating animated shorts, including 1928's Steamboat Willie, which introduced the world to Mickey Mouse. Disney's iconic 1940 film Fantasia was a collection of shorts set to some of the best pieces of classical music ever made. In recent years, Disney has been a formidable opponent in the Best Animated Short award category at the Oscars with five nominations and wins in the past 11 years.
In addition to the films, this new shorts collection will also feature introductions and interviews with the filmmakers themselves. You should also look out for some previously unknown Easter eggs, according to Yahoo Movies, including Big Hero 6's Baymax hidden in Frozen Fever and a reference to Paperman in Feast.

Walt Disney Animation Studios Shorts Collection will be available for download on digital HD Aug. 11 and as a Blu-ray/DVD/digital HD bundle Aug. 18.
