Panic strikes the people in Taiwan after a fisherman caught an unidentified creature on tape. The alien-looking slimer looks like a long worm with bright green color and distinct pink tongue. Not a single person is able to identify what seems like a sea alien in disguise.

The fisherman named Wei Cheng Jian saw the strange snake-like specie while working in the port of Penghu or Pescadores Islands in Taiwan. He cannot determine what it was exactly so he recorded a video of it and shared the post on his Facebook account. He asked for anyone who can help him identify what the creature is, but no one seems to know as well.

The encounter and the fact that the creature remains unknown cause him to feel nervous. Although, some say that it looks similar to a ribbon worm or Nemertea, confirmatory facts are yet to be established.

A ribbon worm commonly burrows land and settles in seas found in tropical and subtropical countries. Some find its way onto land and stay in cool locations, particularly in damp areas. This type of worm usually measures 7.9 inches in length on the average; however, some reports claim that one ribbon worm was found to have a length of about 2,124 inches. The long, pink tongue of the creature may be its proboscis, which ribbon worms use to hunt its prey. This appendage secretes thick and poisonous mucus-like substance that wraps preys before it is finally devoured by the worm.

There are other strange creatures discovered and featured all over the world, such as the legless amphibian known as Ichthyophis cardamomensis in a remote region in Cambodia. This creatures looks like a small snake or some kind of worm but is actually a caecilian, and may grow up to 60 inches. Another attention-grabbing creature previously featured is the giant red leech that is able to suck up an entire worm that is twice its size. As the leech is enormous, sucking blood from its preys are not enough that they have to swallow the entirety of its preys like a ramen noodle.
