Some of us can't even shoot a basketball from a few feet away. Some of us can only dream of landing a shot from the other side of the court. Now, imagine landing a perfect hoop from a couple of hundred feet away.

Australian TV recently caught up with the How Ridiculous team as they again broke their standing world record of sinking a basketball shot from 298 feet off the ground by making a new world record, this time at a dam.

Brett, Derek, Kyle and Scott of Team How Ridiculous broke their own world record for the highest altitude basketball hoop yet again by making the 415-foot Gordon Dam trick shot. The team experienced the challenges of the Tasmanian climate conditions, which is known to be unpredictable, but armed with determination and passion, they pushed on. They spent three days enduring rain, wind and hail until they made the epic shot caught on camera garnering 475,351 views on YouTube to date.

The team expressed their excitement and gratefulness via the caption on their YouTube clip stating: "A big thanks to the Hydro Tasmania, Aardvark Adventures and the Sunday Night program for helping us to make this shot a reality. It's been a dream of ours to make a shot off Gordon Dam since 2010. This shot breaks our previous Guinness World Record for the greatest height from which a basketball is shot, which was 91m off the Euromast in the Netherlands in 2013."

How Ridiculous' humble beginnings started from the boys' backyards in Perth and now, they have grown into a global brand, traveling the world doing different trick shots from golf balls to footballs and even Frisbees. They have challenged themselves by throwing off shots from different surfaces and heights. Notable places they've bounced a ball from include the WACA Light Towers, The Narrows Bridge, Paterson Stadium, The Swan Bell Tower and The Raffles Apartment Building.

With their success, the boys are able to support the charity Compassion, an international non-profit organization that aims to free children around the world from poverty by providing food, medical aid, education and life training to empower and equip individuals to contribute back to their communities.
