Now that the iPhone 6's schematics have leaked we have a better understanding of its dimensions. A MacRumors forum member has created a comparison of the 4.7-inch smartphone with popular Android handsets.

We know Apple is planning to increase the display size on the iPhone 6 and most rumors claim it will come in a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch model. Alleged leaked schematics for both smartphones are giving case makers to get a head start on manufacturing cases for both devices prior to launch. The schematics also allow many people to create renderings of what the devices may ultimately end up looking like.

A MacRumors forum member took an extra step and used the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 render to compare its size to popular Android smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, Nexus 5, LG G2, LG G3 Mini, and Motorola Moto X.

"If the rumors are true, at least one model of the iPhone 6 will contain a 16:9 4.7" screen. When you think about it realistically the iPhone 6 will have a home button with a finger print scanner the same size as the iPhone 5S. Also will the top and bottom bezels have the same height for symmetry. The side bezels will be smaller than the iPhone 5S, but they will not be non-existing," states the forum writer.

The first set of images compare the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 with both the 4.7-inch Motorola Moto X and LG G2 Mini. Even though all three smartphones have the same display size, the Touch ID sensor and top bezel on the iPhone 6 render make the handset noticeably larger than the Android smartphones.

Another set of images compares the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 with the 5-inch Nexus 5 and 5.2-inch LG G2. The iPhone 6 appears to be as tall as both smartphones even though it has a smaller display. The final set of images compare the iPhone 6 with both the 5.1-inch Samsung Galaxy S5 and 5-inch HTC One M8; the two main Android flagship smartphones it will be competing with. The forum member notes both Android smartphones are larger in every way compared to the 4.7-inch iPhone 6.

While the leaked schematics have provided many clues on what the iPhone 6 will look like, it's always best to take all of these renderings with a grain of salt for now.
