LG is extending its current U.S.-exclusive special promo of giving away a spare 3,000 mAh battery with its own battery charging cradle and a 32GB microSD card with the purchase of a brand new LG G4. The promo offers around $105 worth of freebies available through authorized retailers and carriers until June 30.

The company originally announced the promotion to be valid until June 21 but decided to reach out to prospective American buyers a bit longer to highlight its features over rivals Samsung and Apple.

With the promo, LG is advertising two of its flagship's key selling points lacking in Samsung's Galaxy S6 and Apple's iPhone 6, namely support for external storage and a removable battery.

The LG G4 is one of the few flagship smartphones to maintain a removable energy pack and expandable memory that just a couple of years ago were features always present in most flagship handsets. To expand the memory of the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6, consumers will have to pay a significant premium for a bigger memory variant while, for the LG G4, one only has to purchase a microSD card. The LG flagship can support up to 128 GB.

Aside from doubling your storage and the 3,000mAh batteries, a brand new LG G4 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution (538 ppi) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has 3GB of RAM powered by a 64-bit hexa-core 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 808 SoC, which may not be the latest processor from Qualcomm, but LG might have selected the best chip for its flagship, as the Snapdragon 810-powered smartphones are reportedly hammered by poor thermal management issues.

It has a primary 16-megapixel rear camera and a secondary eight-megapixel front snapper. This one also boots Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box with LG Optimus UX 4.0 UI on top. Included in the package are a microUSB cable and the usual wall charger.

To redeem the free extras, LG G4 buyers should simply visit LG's official website, complete the promo form and include an image of the IMEI of their G4 handset and the official sales receipt. The promo, however, is not available internationally. LG has extended it for nine more days to U.S. buyers only.
