This week has been a major one for Destiny. It was of course E3: the biggest gaming event of the year, and Bungie was on hand to show off all the big changes coming in Destiny's third expansion pack, The Taken King.

It is a week of celebration then, and what better way to celebrate all the new content coming to Destiny than to spend your hard-earned Strange Coins with everyone's favorite merchant, Xur.

Xur is hanging out on the Reef this time around. Upon spawning, turn right and go down the stairs. Look right and you will see him standing through the open door.

He has a solid selection of items for sale this week, including the exotic auto-rifle Hardlight. This weapon when upgraded and fired can "over-penetrate" targets and its bullets can ricochet off walls, making it a potent primary weapon. We also get a selection of two exotics from Destiny's second expansion pack in the form of Khepri's Sting and ACD/O Feedback Fence. Khepri's Sting in particular is a potent choice for Hunters, granting the user the ability to become invisible after crouching and adding x4 melee damage when striking an opponent from behind while invisible.

As always, Xur is also selling heavy ammo packs, sparrow upgrades an exotic engram. This week it's an exotic chest engram for the price of 23 Motes of Light.
