Attention Potter fans! Dust off those spell books, practice those incantations, and wave those wands as the Boy Wizard is at it again!

After taking over the big screen, Harry Potter will now be taking over the theater stage. The play titled Harry Potter And The Cursed Child has been revealed to dazzle fans next year.

The plan of making a theatrical play was first announced back in 2013 and since then Potter fans have been vigilantly combing the web for any news on what the play's story will be about. Fans won't need to resort to using veritaserum (truth serum) for us to dish out what we know about the play so far.

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child will focus and explore the untold story of Harry's early years as an outcast and an orphan. Fans have long wondered what Harry's life was like when he was a baby and this is your chance to see the life and times of his parents, Lily and James Potter, before they died protecting young Harry from Voldermort's attack.

The story will also include insights about the relationship of Lily Potter with her sister Petunia and perhaps explain the bad blood between Harry and the Dursleys.

Another hot topic of interest for Potter fans is the unexpectedly long-lived and unreciprocated love Severus Snape had for Lily so that even after all those years, Severus still carried a torch for her.

Fans will also get a better understanding of the Potter family's home life and past experiences and how all these shaped young Harry to be the wizard that he is.

The play is written by British television writer Jack Thorne in collaboration with J.K. Rowling herself and directed by John Tiffany (Tony winner for Broadway's Once). Producers of the play are Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender with Christine Jones on set design. Costume designer Katrina Lindsay will be part of the creative team while Steven Hoggett is in charge of choreography.

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child will debut in the summer of 2016 at London's West End Palace Theater. Tickets will be available later this year.
