The Flash season 2 is one of the most anticipated TV shows coming this year, and already we're hearing the producers are planning to introduce the main big bad early in the season.

Grant Gustin, the actor who plays Barry Allen (The Flash), revealed the information to Collider, but he did not say who the main villain is going to be. Whoever it is, the actor is going to have a tough time keeping up with the same quality delivered by Tom Cavanagh as the Reverse-Flash.

The big question right now is: who will be the big bad in season 2? We have a few ideas, so we're going to share.

Gorilla Grodd

This beast of a talking gorilla showed us what he is capable of in the first season, and we believe he will return as the main villain to give the team a lot of problems going forward. Bear in mind that Grodd in the comics is always planning something big, and he'll be doing the same here.

Mirror Master

Many fans have been talking about Mirror Master and for sure he will show up in season 2. The producers could make him the main villain, but from what we know of the character, he's not main villain material. Still, this doesn't mean the writers are not capable of making this a possibility.

Savitar

Not many might know who this Flash villain is, but he's a speedster who gained his powers in the 40s. He is able to do several things other speedsters could not, such as healing himself instantly and sharing the Speed Force with others, along with being able to protect himself using a force field.

He's also the leader of a cult that calls itself the Thunderbolt Agents. He usually sends his agents to try and kill other Flashes. He also tries to strip them from the Speed Force, but since Wally West is linked directly to the Speed Force, he could not do it.

We'd love to see him as the main villain, but seeing how he's relatively unknown, we may have to wait a while.
