One of the best characters in science fiction action cinema has got to be the Predator. What could be better than duking it out with an alien-looking badass entity?

For those of you who have been dreaming of getting a chance to fight with this efficient killing machine, Mortal Kombat is the answer to your gaming desires as it will soon be adding the Predator to its "Mortal Kombat X" repertoire.

The Predator is set to be the third DLC character to be released for the game. Previous characters released include Tanya and another iconic badass character, Jason Voorhees. Even though all three characters, along with Tremor, have been previously confirmed to be DLCs it is still exciting to finally see how the developers designed the Predator and if he is the alien that we have all come to revere.

It won't be too long a wait to find out exactly how cool this new character will be, but it won't hurt to take a peek at a couple of screen shots and videos of those who have had the privilege of testing out firsthand just exactly what the Predator can do.

Judging from these pictures and clips from gamers such as KommunityFinishHim, Sonicdude20th (Xbox user), Carl Weathers Jax, and Reddit user grassisalwayspurpler, the Predator DLC does not disappoint and his brutalities, fatalities, variations and victory moves are going to be well worth the wait. It also seems from these pictures and clips that the Predator has the chops to be one of the most favorite characters to be featured in "Mortal Kombat X."

But for those who are antsy to try their hands on this character without shelling out some cash, you can try to see if he's now featured in the "Mortal Kombat X" game challenge tower, where gamers have a chance to come face to face with the intimidating creature himself and fight it off to the death. Challengers have to take note that the Predator's finishers and variations might still be currently locked, but then again, its still good to check out exactly what he can do at this point.

The Predator DLC is coming your way sometime this July and will come with the new Predator-themed costume pack.
