Netflix is on a roll with the TV series releases it has done these past months. And even though the channel has been hinting about new and exciting TV shows to be released for the coming months to early next year, the latest teaser video is psyching up a lot of viewers.

The newly released teaser for the upcoming revamp of a familiar and well-loved story comes as a fortunate event for fans, and watching the video only furthers the anticipation for the series' release date.

Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events official trailer is curiously found on YouTube under the user name "Eleanora Poe," who is of course one of the main characters in the story. As far as everyone knows, the released clip is from Netflix but the fact that it is not posted on the Netflix YouTube Channel adds to the mystery.

We could be giving too much meaning into something simple, but in true Lemony Snicket fashion, there is something enigmatic about the clip especially since it starts off innocently enough then slowly shows items that fans of the book will find very memorable and easily recognizable.

Details like the leech in the jar, the black ribbon, the book on "how to start a fire," and even the iconic eye brings depth to this tease of a teaser. Since the book oozes with mystery, the clip seems to hint that the TV series will follow the same theme. The last thing you will see in the clip is an ominous shadow of a very familiar and quite hated character who is nevertheless an integral part of the story.

One can only speculate what the lives of the three characters will be like in this TV revamp and many are hoping that Netflix will do the story justice because the movie version wasn't exactly that great - from a book fan's point of view.

Though the YouTube video is generating excitement and new followers for the upcoming TV show, Netflix has not announced the exact release date for A Series of Unfortunate Events. The list of Netflix original releases does, however, indicate that it is included in their "Coming Up in 2015 and 2016" list, which for most fans is enough to tide them over until the next video teaser.
