The Batman: Arkham Knight PC port has launched with a slew of issues, and it now seems that fixes will not be available until September.

A number of bad PC ports have hit the scene lately, and Batman: Arkham Knight may well be among the worst. Players have reported numerous issues from the very beginning, and many even deemed the game unplayable, which resulted in suspended sales until proper fixes could ensure a quality experience.

Warner Bros. acknowledged the issues and said it is working with Rocksteady Studios to patch things up, noting that the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight will not go back on sale until the slew of issues get fixed.

Australian retailer EB Games has now revealed that the promised fixes for the Batman: Arkham Knight PC port will take a while to roll out. More specifically, Kotaku Australia cited internal documents from EB Games, indicating that updates will roll out in "spring."

It's worth pointing out that this time frame refers to the "Australian spring," which is in a couple of months. In other words, that time frame would translate to September.

The document allegedly noted that EB Games has halted sales of Batman: Arkham Knight as advised, instructed to wait until Rocksteady and Warner Bros. resolve the performance issues affecting the game.

"The latest information from Warner is that the updates won't be available until Spring. Due to this we have made the difficult decision to recall all PC stock from stores to return to the vendor until an acceptable solution is released," EB Games noted, as cited by Kotaku.

Keep in mind, however, that this is not an official time frame. Warner Bros. and the game developer, Rocksteady, have yet to announce a specific date for when the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight will receive the updates in question.

It's fairly common practice for publishers to give retailers rough estimates or placeholder dates for future releases, but the dates or time frames don't always reflect reality. Consequently, a spring time frame, a.k.a. September, could very well be just a rough estimate, albeit it remains unclear for now. Neither Warner Bros. nor Rocksteady have issued official statements in this regard so far.
