Alex Morgan became one of the first women to be featured on a FIFA video game cover, joining Lionel Messi on the cover of the upcoming FIFA 16 title, which is scheduled for a September 22 release.

Just don't ask the World Cup-winning U.S. women's national team's star forward to play the video game with you. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night (July 21), Morgan admitted to not being the most savvy FIFA gamer.

"Well, I played it the other day, yeah...I learned how to pass, how to shoot really high...I can't shoot on frame. I'm really bad at that in the game," said the 26-year-old, proving that just because you're an adept actual player, doesn't mean you'll automatically be a good gamer.

"But it's an incredible honor to share it with Messi," Morgan continued about being one of the cover subjects for the game. "There's 12 women's teams in the game this year and it's the first time that women's teams are featured."

As the conversation between Kimmel and Morgan continued, the late-night talk show host hilariously asked the soccer star why the sport refers to its ultimate prize as the World Cup, when it indeed is not a cup.

"That's a really good point," Morgan said laughing. "I never thought about that."

Fresh off knee surgery late last week, Morgan will return to the Portland Thorns FC of the National Women's Soccer League in about three to four weeks. Maybe she could use some of the time in between to perfect her FIFA gaming skills.
