Electronic giant Samsung is introducing their newest monitor that will allow you charge your mobile phone without cluttering your desks by doing away with the usual charging cables.

The SE370 is a desktop monitor with an integrated wireless charging ability for smartphones. The new monitor will be available in 23.6 inches and 27 inches and will have an ultra-narrow bezel, a semi-transparent blue finish, and a white gloss body.

The screen will use AMD FreeSync technology that will significantly reduce the stutter and lag gamers experience while playing. Its 178-degree wide-viewing angle and 300 cd/m2 screen brightness delivers stunning imagery for maximum viewing enjoyment.

But the best function that this monitor offers is the ability to wirelessly charge your mobile devices that is equipped with the Qi wireless charging standard developed by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).

"Technology should support, not interfere with, active lifestyles. Our customers increasingly rely on mobile devices to obtain information and interact with others; so by doing away with the clutter on their desks, we are helping them to use their mobile devices in a smarter way," said Seok-gi Kim, Senior Vice President, Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics

The charging area for your mobile device is found on the stand of the monitor. An LED lights up to indicate when it's in use and is reported to be compatible with Android devices. The wireless charging function lets users continue their work while the device is charging allowing for efficiency and productivity.

Other reported features of the SE370 are: 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, eye-saver mode than reduces blue light that is believed to cause sleep problems and eye strain, Mac OS X, and Windows OS compatible, Flicker Free mode, and Eco Saving Plus.

Though there is no confirmed release date and pricing for the SE370 at the moment, we can all patiently wait in the coming months for Samsung to surprise us even further with its innovative ideas.
