If you're looking forward to playing the new Mad Max video game on PC, spending your time driving through the wasteland and taking on the enemies there, you'll need to know what the minimum requirements are, right?

Fortunately, those specs recently went up on Steam, along with other game details, as reported by GameRanx.

The minimum specs for playing Mad Max requires at least 6GB of RAM, a 64-bit operating system, at least 32GB of free space on your hard drive and an ATI or Nvidia graphics card capable of running DirectX 11.

Of course, those are just the minimums and for a pure gaming experience, you'll need more than that. Here are the specs, as posted on Steam:

Minimum Specs:

OS: 64 bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8

Processor: Intel Core i5-650, 3.2 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 Ghz

Memory: 6 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660ti (2 GB Memory or higher) or AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2 GB Memory or higher)

DirectX: Version 11

Hard Drive: 32 GB available space

Recommended Specs:

OS: 64 bit: Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1

Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz

Memory: 8 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (3 GB Memory or higher) or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (3 GB Memory or higher)

DirectX: Version 11

Hard Drive: 32 GB available space

Please note that the Mad Max video game has nothing to do with the recent film, Mad Max: Fury Road. However, the video game lets you wander through the Wasteland as Mad Max.

"In a world gone mad, only the savage survive," reads the game's official description. "In the Wasteland, it's every man for himself. Playing as reluctant warrior, Mad Max, you must embark on a treacherous journey to build the ultimate war vehicle, and leave the madness behind."

Here's the Mad Max game trailer:

Mad Max comes out on September 1 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Pre-orders get The Ripper, an additional upgradeable Magnum Opus car body.
