Showing who is the true master of the skies, one eagle majestically took down a drone in one fell swoop and it was all captured on the drone's on-board video.

The wedge-tailed eagle in the video had a wingspan of around two meters. It was apparently not all too happy about sharing its turf with the annoying buzzing drone and decided to show it who the real boss was.

In the clip uploaded on YouTube by Melbourne Aerial Video, the eagle is shown with perfect timing and precision, flying directly toward the quadcopter head on and knocking the drone right out of the sky.

The video uploader made it very clear in a statement that the safety of the eagle after attacking his drone was a concern of his, but it was unharmed after using her massive size and talons to take down the drone.

The drone, on the other hand, suffered some losses and needed major repairs to get off the ground again.

"It survived, but I need $100 in parts to get it going again," says Adam Lancaster of his unfortunate drone that drew the eagle's ire.

And to make its point perfectly clear about who really owns the skies above, the eagle hovered above Lancaster as he collected his damaged drone to “make sure they learned their lesson,” he believes.

Hoping that other drone enthusiasts will learn from this lesson on flying in the territory of birds of prey, Lancaster says – don't.

"They clearly attack seeing you as a threat or the right-sized dinner. If you see a bird of prey while flying. Land," he shared on his YouTube page.
