ZombiU is coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the form of Zombi. It is practically the same game being ported from the Nintendo Wii U but with minor touches that should take advantage of the new consoles.

The boys at Eurogamer chose to put both the Wii U and PS4 versions side by side to tell which one looks the best. From what we can tell from the video, there isn't a clear winner, and that is expected since Ubisoft didn't go out of its way to deliver the perfect port.

We know for a fact that the PlayStation 4 is more powerful when compared to the Nintendo Wii U, so fans will be expecting Zombi to smash the Wii U version in every way possible. Well, we can say the PS4 version does come out on top where resolution is concerned and a few detailed environments here and there. However, the Wii U version still managed to hold its own in this fight, surprisingly enough.

With the Wii U version, the dirty lens effect is still there but is missing in the PS4 version. Some folks have claimed that the dirty lens effect adds to the atmosphere and overall enjoyment of the game while others state that, in reality, a person's vision would not look like that.

There's also a scene where a zombie is stuck in a window. He's snarling, wanting desperately to rip the player's throat out with his teeth. It is fun to look at but even more so on the Wii U due to the more detailed shirt. Players can see the wrinkles and stitches while the PS4 version is just one big blob on the screen.

It is safe to say that this is just a quick and dirty port, so if folks want the best overall experience, it seems the Wii U version is the way to go. Still, a higher resolution is always a good thing, and that is what the PS4 version brings to the table.
