Although there is still one more month before the official launch of Destiny: The Taken King, the Bungie team of developers took to a livestream on Twitch to explain to the loyal gamers all of the changes that will take place in the new game expansion.

In particular, "Quality of Life" is what the helpful stream focused on, and although some elements will make players feel like life just got a bit more complicated, overall, the developers said that these changes should make everyone's experience much more enjoyable.

First off, say goodbye to Light Levels and welcome in the most standard RPG game mechanic that everybody should be familiar with - Experience. In the past, experience in Destiny only took you up to level 20, but now, experience is what will get you to max out your character - no more wasting time finding items to level up.

However, Light Levels won't be completely eliminated from the game. They will still be around as a measure of the quality of your weapons and armor rather than a gauge to fill to up your character.

Other improvements to the game include a Vault with double the amount of space, and Ghost Shells, previously a purely aesthetic element, will now have their own stats and modifiers that will affect game play.

For Exotic Gear, visiting the Tower will allow you to access a new menu called "exotic blueprints." This will allow you to upgrade exotics, as well as buy back any previously owned and earned exotics.

And if you've got a slew of legendary weapons that you can't figure out what to do with, you can feed them to your Year Two weapons with the Gunsmith's Infuse option and get a more powerful weapon in return.

Developers, Mark Noseworthy, Deej, and Tyson Green, talked us through a lot of the new upgrades and changes in game play, characters and weapons to expect in Destiny: The Taken King.

A replay [video] of the livestream is still available on Twitch to get a rundown on exactly what they had to say about all the exciting features to look forward to when the game launches on Sept. 15.
