At 22, Anthony Davis is already one of the most dominant players in the NBA.

What's really scary is the New Orleans Pelicans' All-Star power forward's average of 24.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game last season just represents the early stages of how great Davis can be.

Davis talks about his potential to open up the latest—and final—story trailer for the highly-anticipated NBA 2K16.

"When people talk about the greatest ever, I want to be in that conversation," Davis says. "I'm nowhere close to it...but it's where I want to go."

That being said, Spike Lee takes over the narration, chronicling Davis's rise to full-blown NBA superstardom from humble beginnings in Chicago. Davis's story follows that of James Harden's climb and Stephen Curry's journey, as the three cover subjects of the game. All three stories revolve around NBA 2K16's "The Rise," the main theme of the game's MyCareer mode, which Lee directed and gave a more cinematic feel.

"This is the story about the rise because the more you rise from struggle, the more you appreciate where you end up," Lee says, beginning to tell Davis's story. "When your elementary school has no gym, practicing at a church helps you rise. When your high school doesn't have a big name, you rise to the occasion. When they said you were too small, your body rises eight inches.

"When they thought you'd be no one, you get drafted No. 1," the famed director continues. "When you go from a crowded home to making the crowd rise in a home game. This is about playing like your idols to playing against them, then playing with them to rise together. So...what will your story be?"

Watching this trailer will likely make gamers itch to get their hands on this title that much sooner.

NBA 2K16 is available for pre-order on September 25 with the official release to follow September 29.
