In the seventh season of Seinfeld, actress Heidi Swedberg appeared repeatedly as part of a story arc that saw her character Susan Ross get engaged to Jason Alexander's character George Costanza. She'd guested a few times on the show before, in an on-again/off-again romance with George.

The only problem with the Season 7 engagement arc is that George didn't really love her. He proposed on a whim, and she accepted. It didn't take him long, however, to realize that he was trapped in a possessive relationship with no way out. In the season finale, George managed to escape thanks to Susan's untimely death. (She overdosed on envelope glue after insisting on licking all of them herself. No, really.)

Needless to say, although George never wanted Susan dead, he was nonetheless relieved to no longer be engaged. But what if this story hadn't played out as part of a comedy? What if the story was a drama instead?

A YouTube user called "gBCptAwesome" recut scenes from throughout Season 7 (and a few from 8), editing them together differently, to shape them into a movie trailer. The fictional film is called George, and it's the life-affirming story of a man who loses the love of his life but finds the power to go on.

Seinfeld fans will recognize most of the scenes in the faux-trailer and laugh at the way it's all been recut. But the thing is, the scenes are mixed and matched so smartly that viewers who've never watched the show could actually find themselves feeling for George.
