Looking to get your hands on one of the latest Football games in the form of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 and FIFA 16 for Xbox One? Well, it has come to our attention that one of these games has made it easier to choose between the two.

Back in 2014, Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 ran at a meager 720p and 60FPS on the Xbox One and 1080p and 60FPS on the PlayStation 4. FIFA 15 performed well at 1080p and 60FPS on both consoles.

This year, one would have expected the boys at Konami to step it up a bit. It happened. Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 will now run at 900p and 60FPS on the Xbox One, which is a huge improvement over 720p. The resolution for the PlayStation 4 version is the same as the 2015 version, so all is well there.

Now, as for FIFA 16, this game will follow the same path as the others before it by running at the same 1080p and 60FPS on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. So, right away it is clear which Football game Xbox One owners should aspire to own by the end of 2015.

Whatever Konami is doing, something is just not going right. We suspect it has a lot to do with the Fox Engine, so Xbox One gamers should expect Metal Gear Solid: 5 to perform less when compared to the PlayStation 4 version.

We're not sure what is going on at Konami, but a Football game should be less demanding, and should also be able to hit the pinnacle resolution and frames per second mark without much of a hitch.

If the boys at Electronic Arts can do it, then we see no reason why Konami is unable to keep up. So as it stands, for Xbox One gamers out there who enjoys the greatest sports game in the world; FIFA 16 is the only Football game to grab this year because it would appear as if EA did not come up with a lazy Xbox One port.
