Alienware, Dell's line of gaming hardware, has announced a updates to a few of its existing products during the Pax Prime convention Thursday, CNET reports.

The Alienware X51 desktop in particular is getting quite the revamp with Intel's new sixth-generation Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs, also known by the codename Skylake, an upgrade from the fourth-generation of Core i-series CPUs it used previously. The X51 will also be supporting the faster DDR4-rated RAM for the first time and come with the option of incorporating liquid cooling that comes through tubes to the motherboard and processor and an attachable unit with a fan. This Skylake version of the X51 will retail for $1,049 in the U.S., according to CNET.

The X51 will also now be built with the special port needed to support the Alienware Graphics Amplifier, a sold-separately external metal box that can add a second graphics card, also sold separately, to the PC. The Graphics Amplifier, which retails for $199, was previously only compatible with the Alienware 13 gaming laptop.

Speaking of gaming laptops, Alienware is giving them some updates, too. Though the designs of Alienware's 13-, 15- and 17-inch laptops will all remain unchanged, they will be receiving dynamic overclocking, new graphics card options and a USB-C port that will support Thunderbolt 3 data. The 15- and 17-inch laptops will also come with the option of 4K-resolution displays.

These new Alienware systems also come with Windows 10 pre-installed and are available to order now.
