Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, apologized for the delay in rolling out the invites for the OnePlus 2 smartphone and promised in a tweet that "aggressive" invites will be sent for the latest handset next weekend.
OnePlus is using an invite system on its website to handle sales of the OnePlus 2. The company claims that the invite system for the OnePlus 2 is more efficient than the one used for the OnePlus One. Due to the high demand for the OnePlus 2, there will be more invites sent in comparison to the phone's predecessor.
Apologies for the wait. We were set back by almost a month, but finally our aggressive invite rollout starts next weekend. Pretty stoked.
