A new trailer for the latest iteration — and full reboot — of EA's Need For Speed shows five different types of gameplay for the mostly urban world racing console game.

"How will they remember you? In Need For Speed, that depends on how you drive," proclaims the voiceover in the four-minute trailer.

According to the trailer, players need to earn "rep points" — short for "reputation points" — to be able to collect and raise money for things like car upgrades and customization. To do this, gamers must rely on five factors:

- Speed: Timed events like sprint races help users rack up more points and hone their corner-cutting skills.

- Style: Cultivating performance precision and control, as well as executing tricks for in-game contests. "For some, style is all that matters," proclaims the trailer.

- Build: Developing your own "one of a kind vehicle" with visual customizations and aftermarket modifications, letting your "inner artist run wild" and "unleash the beast in each and every car."

- Crew: Working with other racing teams, or "crews"; "ride with your crew, represent with your crew, win with your crew."

- Outlaw: Developing the skills for "risks versus reward driving" for "high stakes" scenarios.

While the NFS franchise has been around since 1994 (the first installment, stylized as The Need For Speed, was originally released for DOS), the upcoming version, headed by Marcus Nilsson of Ghost Games, is the first reboot. Nilsson himself called for a new direction for the game. Apparently, it's almost here.

Check out the five different ways to play NFS in the extensive trailer below.
